BECOME A GAME DESIGNER AT FUTUREGAMES

Whether it's level design, game design, system design, scripting, storytelling, quality assurance, or game production management that ignites your creativity and passion, this program will immerse you in the industry with credibility through hands-on development experience in game design.

ADDRESSING INDUSTRY DEMANDS - OUR GAME DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIZATIONS

At Futuregames, we always strive to tailor our programs to the needs of the gaming industry, and we observe that game development is becoming increasingly specialized. Therefore, we are now launching an updated format for our programs in Game Artist, Game Design, and Game Programming, adding an additional six months of specialization. These three programs will now be 2.5 years long.

In the new version of these programs, students will choose between one of two possible areas of specialization.

Level designer – Choosing level design as your focus means gaining deeper knowledge of advanced design principles, including layering, progression, tempo, increased difficulty, etc. You will also learn how level design and storytelling relate to each other in professional game design. You will also gain a thorough understanding of writing in-depth design documentation, iterations, and how to communicate your ideas.

Technical and/or Systems Designer -Opting for this specialized role gives you an advanced understanding of scripting, prototyping, and iteration, game mechanics, and game systems. You will be able to design and implement advanced flexible game systems and customize them to enhance the player experience. You will also have the skills needed to create sustainable and scalable game systems with an improved workflow that meets the needs of the professional gaming industry.

30 WEEKS OF INTERNSHIP (LIA)

As part of our program, you'll embark on LIA (Lärande i Arbete), commonly known as an internship. This hands-on internship component plays a vital role in enhancing your learning and equipping you with the practical work experience needed to shape the VFX experiences of today and tomorrow.

Beyond honing your skills, your internship also opens doors to expanding your professional network, forging valuable relationships with potential future employers during your education.
